Sh-h-h-h! Don’t tell anyone it is really Friday…

Another project I have in the works is a binding replacement on one of my antique quilts.

This quilt was made by Leta Rauch, probably in the 1920s sometime. It is completely pieced and quilted by hand. Leta did exquisite hand work. There is a variety of very difficult patterns in the quilt; all masterfully pieced.

I feel lucky to have her quilt in my collection.

  1. That is a beautiful quilt!

  2. How pretty! It makes me smile.

  3. Exquisite in its delicate simplicity.

  4. Lovely! It definitely deserves your new binding!
