This is a lovely quilt that my friend Jan pieced. It is all pieced from strips 🙂 What fun!!
I used a panto by Jodi Beamish called Koko to quilt it.

I have been reading your archives and I just can’t thank you enough for posting your practice photos!!!!! Every long arm quilt I see on the internet is so perfect, and that is just a little discouraging to me – I love seeing your skills grow, it reassures me that mine can too. Not everyone is brave enough to show that to the whole internet. I am currently quilting on a Handiquilter and an Juki TL 98E but I usually look to long arm websites for inspiration. I am definitely bookmarking you. You have given me courage and inspiration today! – Glenda in Colorado
That’s a really interesting, unusual quilt. I’m glad to have seen it.
What an interesting quilt, Deb! Sort of a Navajo blanket done quilt-style! Beautiful and nice choice of quilting design.
What a clever quilt! Kudos to Jan. After a little googling I learned what a “panto” is – there’s a whole world of quilting designs out there.
Very unusual quilt but right at home in Texas. I wonder if she will enter it in any shows?
