I have always kind of wondered what it would feel like to hit my finger with the sewing machine needle. Now I know. I’ll spare you the gory details but suffice it to say, I’m not going there again!! I’ll be much more careful from now on. And I hope all of you ladies are careful too, because IT HURTS!

  1. I just have to comment to this post…!

I have done that – twice!!! In the first time the needle got stuck in the bottom position and I had to ask my dear hubby to come help me.

    Be careful, ladies!

  2. I, too, have done that. Through my fingernail. Ouch. Be careful out there!

  3. and I sliced into my leg with a rotary cutter. . . .

  4. Ouch, indeed… Deb! I hope you finger gets to feeling better soon. I have had that happen before. I have also cut into my finger with the rotary cutter, and it took forever to heal — I remember at that time, I also had to play the piano in a wedding with my injured finger.

    Take care!

  5. Oh, ow! So sorry! I haven’t done this, but my sister did.

  6. Oh I am so sorry that happened to you. I did that once, many, many years ago when I use to make clothes in high school. I think you only have to have that happen once! I shutter reading about the rotary cutter mishaps….especially because I am cutting strips tonight for another log cabin project.

    Feel Better!

  7. Eeeeyow! I hope I never do that. I saw a girl in school sew through her fingernail. Gives me the willies.
