I have a new beau;
Around him I like to sew.
He’s a colorful kind of guy;
His hats just make me sigh.
He is as quiet as a lamb;
His name is Sunbonnet Sam. 🙂

How adorable Deb. I love those fabrics. They are so sweet. Is this a customer quilt? Really sweet & the quilted lines don’t take away from the applique.
Not only are you a quilting artist, but poetry also?! I love all the Sunbonnet quilts. My daughter, Kat, has her Grandmother’s childhood original Sunbonnet Sue primer.
Very cute Deb. Love your little bit of poetry with it too!
Fantastic quilting and poetry! As always you did an outstanding job! Susan and her family are going to absolutely enjoy this antique quilt. It’s hard to believe it is at least 75 years old and just now getting quilted. It’s just awesome.
The quilt looks great! I know my dad will love it. He will also love the poem. Over the last few years writing poetry has been his passion, so I know he will love the quilt inspired poem. Thank you for your wonderful work.
