WIP Wednesday

January 3, 2007

This is the progress I have made on the 12 x 12 x 12 project for January. The design is based on the Broken Dishes pattern. I hand dyed the fabrics last week.

While I haven’t officially joined the Take a Stitch Tuesday group, I did find some time to sit down and play with this week’s stitch, the Herringbone stitch.

  1. If you find that site, will you please let me know?

Your progress looks great — can’t wait to see the end result!

  2. Good idea. Play along when you can with the Take a Stitch Tuesday. I may try this, too.

Love watching the progress on your Broken Dishes!

  3. Your quilt is looking good already. More hours in the day sounds a bit exhausting to me! Lol.

  4. I too will be interested in how the Broken Dishes piece comes out.

  5. I think it’s great that you are playing along with the TAST challenge!

  6. LOL! I was just wondering how long you would resist the TAST Challenge! apparently, not very long!!

    Isn’t that design wall great?

  7. Your dyed fabrics are gorgeous. Your herringbone stitches look great. I joined TAST, but I haven’t started yet.

  8. You are off to a great start, I love the colors you are using. Can’t wait to see finished journal.

  9. your broken dishes looks good – I’ve been tempted by TAST also – what could it hurt, right? 🙂

  10. Your block and stitches look intriguing. It will be fun seeing how it all comes together. And also reading what you have to say about them: the blending of the contemporary with the traditional. I’m just starting to practice simple block patterns.
