Hi Deb,
Please help me locate your tips for making the basting glue bottle. I’m retired & this would help me. I found the glue for 20 cents a bottle last night. I tried the glue sticks but I’m making 4 quilts for my grandchildren. Nothing special except that I’m doing them. I was a former Home Economics teacher so using glue was unheard of in the seventies, yikes. BUT, I love it. I needed two glue sticks for each quilts seams. It does work. But, now I know the liquid will work better and cheaper. I usually iron it after application, however today I got busy on the phone and low and behold when it dried on it’s own it held. Yea! Please send or forward the link to me about making the BASTING BOTTLE WITH BIC PEN. THANK YOU

Hi Kat!
My pleasure; Elmer’s Glue Bottle
I laugh about using glue with my sewing too! I’m sure my Home Ec teacher would have had a nervous breakdown had I tried that in the seventies! LOL!
Good luck with the four quilts. I’m sure the grandchildren will love them!
Sincerely, Deb Geyer
